Ralph - February 2011
Dear Martino, We have just come back from a fabulous week in Firenze. The apartment (Costa San Giorgio 63) was great. Really well situated, warm and well equipped and clean. Cristina, the lady who met us there, was very helpful and kind (especially as my friend had left his bag in the taxi- duh!) and she sorted that out for us immediately. I would happily recommend the apartment to any friends thinking of visiting Firenze. A couple of suggestions to make the stay of any future visitors even more pleasurable... A Visitor's Book so that people can write in suggested restaurants, supermarkets, comments and helpful tips etc. Most places I have stayed seem to have them and they are quite useful when visiting a place for the first time. More comfortable and appropriate seating in the living area. ( The flat has some lovely old cupboards etc, so chairs that complement them would look better. At present there is a rather saggy armchair and a fold down bed/settee draped in a cheap yellow throw). Thanks again for your help. It really was a great holiday in a fabulous city. Ralph. ps. Oh yes, we had to buy our own corkscrew. A bit of a shock in chianti country.....!

Barclay - November 2009
Hello - I am terribly sorry for not having done this long ago. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the San Giorgio apartment. Not only was it clean, comfortable, and beautiful, it has a wonderful charm that only a well refurbished Florentine apartment can. The kitchen is fully functional and made for food lovers. The bedrooms and baths were very nice and homely. If I come to Florence again, I will schedule my trip around the availability of that apartment. The caretakers were so pleasant, the location so perfect, and the flat so fitting for a Florentine vacation. Thank you all again. Barclay

Dear Martino, We certainly enjoyed our stay at San Giorgio! The apartment has a lot of light and very cozy. Very large kitchen and living area, comfortable bedrooms. Also, we had warm welcome when we arrived at the apartment, very friendly host. Although the location is quite far from the train station if you have lots of luggage but it is close to Ponte Vecchio and lots of local restaurants near by.
