Hi Martino, I hope this finds you well. Short comment: We have had a wonderful stay in apartment Giovanni. The photographs on the website do not do the apartment justice, so we have attached some better ones for you to see! The apartment - particularly the second level - is filled with light, even on a winter's day. The apartment is small, ideally suited to a couple, but would easily be big enough to accommodate a child as well. The position is very convenient; the neighbourhood is quiet and yet it is very close to all that Florence offers. There is not only the Bargello around the corner but also the Piazza Signoria, the Uffizi, and the Arno flowing close by. There are some lovely restaurants, trattorias and pizzerias within easy walking distance. Having stayed here in the winter we can attest that the apartment was always well heated, even during the coldest periods. Giovanni and Riccardo, the apartment's owners, have been the most incredible hosts, always helpful and lovely to spend time with. We would happily stay in Apartment Giovanni again. Martino, we hope this will be a good advertisement for what is a lovely place to stay in Florence! Kindest regards, Susan and Paul Kovesi

We stayed in Campuccio 1 for a week in the fall of 2012. It was our second visit and we hope to return again. We have recommended the apartment to friends and they love it as much as we do. We have rented 5 different Florence apartments and this is our very favorite when we need just one bedroom. (One rental was for extended family of 6 adults.) The apartment is clean and extremely quiet (windows don't face the street and the building's residents are quiet as well). Nice kitchen! I love to cook and had all the equipment I needed for that. There is a farmer's market in the nearby Santo Spirito area, many small specialty shops for meat, poultry, wine, bread, etc. and, of course, there are supermarkets--not as much fun perhaps but easy. The living/dining area is quite large, airy, and comfortable. Lots of good books, including travel guides. Bathroom and bedroom are more ample that one often finds in Europe. We have always found Martino to be reliable, trustworthy, and quick to respond to our emails.

My husband and I stayed at San Nic for 5 days in the winter of 2012. As usual, Martino had everything in place for our reception there upon arrival. It's a comfortable apartment in our favorite area of Florence--across the Arno from central Florence where the crowds can get oppressive and noise at night, unpleasant. Just across the Arno, close enough but more serene, one can "live like a local," which certainly enhances any travel experience. It's delightful to see the river and to walk across its lovely bridges. We found the apartment to be quite comfortable and just as described on its website. There was someone there to greet us upon arrival and to show us around it so we could quickly understand how everything works.

Dear Martino, We found the apartment very comfortable a very handy to all the main attractions in Florence. Considering that we spent five weeks in Florence the apartment was certainly a home away from home and we enjoyed our stay. Chiara was very pleasant and helpful when we met on our arrival and our stay was such that we had no reason to call for her assistance as all the requirements for our visit were more than adequately supplied. We wish you all a very happy festive season and a prosperous coming year. Best regards Robert and Dorothy Harman.

Letter sent by the client to the owner of the apartmet: Hi Alex, First let me say that Florence was an incredible experience beyond our expectations from the food to the people both social and shop owner alike, all were incredibly generous, helpful, friendly and kind. My memories of Florence being my favorite city on the planet were solidly reinforced after our 3.5 months there and look forward to our next sojourn to the city by the river! I would also like to thank you for your rapid response to our needs with regard to the heating/hot water issue as well as our embarrassing episode where we locked ourselves out and for that we are very appreciative and grateful! I do however, feel there are some things that need to be mentioned regading the overall experience as you said so you can contemplate them and possibly change some things if you see fit. 1. The pics you placed on Martino's website do not accurately depict your apaprtment on Via De Mezzo, particularly the one showing the "Gated" parking lot across the street. That was very deceiving and we based a lot of our decision to rent it due to having a "quick" place in the early morning and possibly late at night to walk our boys for their business. Getting there and finding that we had no access to that area was quite frustrating. 2. The Air Conditioner "NEVER" really worked ..PERIOD! Thank goodness it was only hot enough for it for a couple of weeks or it would have been a real problem! 3. The kitchen faucet was not very functional. It was either on full or it was on very slow...you could not just move it with ease and I am sure that lack of full function probably cost us a lot of additional charges for water. 4. The "window screens" need to either be made into permanent shutter type applications or be removed...to have them taped to the widow frames really did nothing to keep out bugs! 5. The lack of a "true" picture of the living area with the sofa-bed was very mis-leading as well. In combination with the picture of the kitchen area to look as if it was large enough to fit 4 people and still move about was also very, very mis-leading! 6. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable bed in additon to being the most inconvenient and most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on. It made it nearly impossible to relax anywhere in the house except for sitting at the kitchen table and laying in bed. Any and all of the covers that were provided inclusive of the blue one specific for the sofa was at best extemely annoying constantly needing to be moved and propped up if only to make it possible to sit on the couch. 7. With all that space in the bathroom you should certainly add a dryer with what you're charging for rent that should really be included. 8. The rental payment you are charging for that space is quite frankly way over-priced. After arriving there and having our new acquaintences/friends say after coming to our place that we were paying "WAY TOO MUCH" for what we got was a bit distressing. I do not fault you for that. We made the decision to lease your apartment and we lived with it once we got there but to be honest it was about 25-30% higher than other comparable units in Florence and many with better locations. As I said this is just food for thought! In conclusion, I hope you take the above mentioned issues in the spirit they were meant. With all due respect when we return to Florence and we most certainly will, we will not be looking to lease the Via De Mezzo apartment again! I will be forwarding this to Martino although I know it will never make on his website I really believe he needs to know our opinion of one of the owners apartments he represents. You and I just really never connected personally. I think the early issue regarding making us feel like you were doing us a favor saying it was OK for us to have 2 dogs when we really stated we only had one sort of set the tone for me. As you remember I immediately fired off the e-Mail that we sent to Martino the very next day following initial contact to clarify that position. You were not doing us any favors; it was what was agreed upon and "FULLY PAID FOR UPFRONT ON ARRIVAL"! Again, this is just for future reference, we made sure we came to the table in a professional way and hope these observations accomplish what what they were intended to do! Good bye, Shannon and Chaz Solomon

Dear Martino, I am writing to share my remarks about the apartment Ambrogio: I highly recommend this apartment in the beautiful neighborhood of Santa Croce, Florence. The apartment is well appointed and perfectly located: close to a lovely farmers' market, small shops, well regarded restaurants and even a small piazza in front of Sant'Ambrogio church where you can sit and watch the people in the neighborhood come and go. Living in Santa Croce allows you to get away from the hectic, sometimes tourist-clogged center of Florence, while at the same time you are only blocks away from the architecture and museums that surely drew you to this beautiful city. To engage with the kind and helpful shopkeepers and merchants, along with the proud residents of this Florentine neighborhood is a gift that cannot be measured in Euros. Santa Croce is an enchanting quarter of Florence that should not be missed. Living on Via di Mezzo is a perfect vantage point to experience the magic of this memorable city. Ellen

She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed in the apartment. The rooms are quite spacious (love the big shower!) and Cristina provides all the comforts of home. Thank you again for your kindness and patience and I look forward to being back in Florence very soon. Warmest regards, Elizabeth Thank you for letting us know your arrival time. Ciao! Martino. I wanted to take a minute to follow up with you on our recent stay in Campuccio 1 in Florence, Italy and let you know how pleased we were with the apartment and with Eleonora Fierini and Alessandro Finardi. We arrived on Monday April 25th and stayed until May 22nd. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, quiet and we settled in right away. Eleonora showed us around the apartment and gave us hints and advice on what to see and where to eat around the neighborhood. She gave us her phone number and email so we could contact her if we needed anything. We called her the next day when we realized the shower head was leaking. She contacted Alessandro and he fixed it the next day! Very responsive!!! We often emailed Eleonora with questions and she got back to us right away every time. She was really great! The location of the apartment was perfect. We could walk to all the places we wanted to see and had no problems getting around. It was close to everything including the train station which we used to side trip to Lucca. I would definately stay in this apartment again and will recommend it to others. The worst part of all was having to leave! -- Curtis and Helen Williams

Dear Martino The flat is beautifully situated and it all worked very well. I think that you should warn any takers that it is 59 steps up. Occasionally a man would appear who was supposed to be painting it. I can't speak highly enough of the delightful lady who saw us in. It might be an idea that people should be told if they are delayed to ring her to that effect. We missed the train at Pisa and rang and told her and she was very grateful. We bought some cheap wine glasses and left them but an investment in a dozen would seem an inexpensive and welcome addition to the facilities. Also it would be useful to include to those going there the fact that there are electricity adapters. We only discovered these after a few days. But the weather was glorious and we were within walking distance of everything and left just in time before the ghastly hordes of tourists arise. With best wishes Roy Strong

Dear Martino, We have just come back from a fabulous week in Firenze. The apartment (Costa San Giorgio 63) was great. Really well situated, warm and well equipped and clean. Cristina, the lady who met us there, was very helpful and kind (especially as my friend had left his bag in the taxi- duh!) and she sorted that out for us immediately. I would happily recommend the apartment to any friends thinking of visiting Firenze. A couple of suggestions to make the stay of any future visitors even more pleasurable... A Visitor's Book so that people can write in suggested restaurants, supermarkets, comments and helpful tips etc. Most places I have stayed seem to have them and they are quite useful when visiting a place for the first time. More comfortable and appropriate seating in the living area. ( The flat has some lovely old cupboards etc, so chairs that complement them would look better. At present there is a rather saggy armchair and a fold down bed/settee draped in a cheap yellow throw). Thanks again for your help. It really was a great holiday in a fabulous city. Ralph. ps. Oh yes, we had to buy our own corkscrew. A bit of a shock in chianti country.....!

Display images Dear Martino, First of all, I would like to thank you for the wonderful experience we had at the Panorama apartment in Florence. Everything in the apartment was exactly like the photos we previously saw, and even better. The views were fantastic. Everywhere we looked, we saw beautiful views of Florence. We could see all of Florence from the windows in every room. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished. The apartment was so bright and cheerful. The location was great; we were able to walk to everything. Our neighborhood was very convenient, and we loved walking out into the Santa Annunicatta Piazza every day. The apartment was beautifully furnished, and everything was very comfortable. The king-sized bed was so comfortable, and even the sleeper sofa mattress was very comfortable. The linens were well-stocked, as was the kitchen. We didn't even have to buy basics, as the kitchen was so complete. It was so convenient to have the washing machine. In addition, everyone in Florence were incredibly helpful. Eleonora really made us feel like she was a friend. When we first arrived in Florence, we made the error of dropping our rental car in downtown Florence instead of the airport. (It is the same price to take a taxi from the airport to the apartment then from the downtown garage, and a lot easier). Anyway, I found the Hertz office, but my husband was sitting in the car, not knowing where to go after driving around Florence for an hour. I called Eleonora from the Hertz office, and she came running over to meet us, and also helped us with the Hertz representative who finally helped us drive to the garage. Eleonora also gave us wonderful touring information. We came home late one night after being away for 2 days, and the heat and hot water were off. We called Eleonora, and she happily stayed on the phone with my husband, until he was able to get everything working. She was so kind and helpful. We had a problem with a light bulb l night, and Francesco, the owner, came personally to fix it. We found in dealing with your agency and representatives, was a wonderful experience. If we have 1 complaint, we could not use the wonderful terrace, because the weather was very cold and rainy. The few times, we went out on the terrace, it felt like all of Florence was before us. Thank you again for a wonderful experence. Yours truly, Sandra Kaplan New York City

Dear Martino, we are now home in Sydney after a great 5 week holiday. This includes our week in Firenze. We were very happy with the apartment, but believe the owners need to be made aware of the following: 1/. The shower curtain is either an unfortunate oversight or a practical joke! Here is how the joke would work: a/. Buy a shower curtain double the needed width so there is excess fabric and very deep folds, even when extended. This will effectively further reduce the width of what may already be the narrowest shower cubicle on earth, and ensure that each time an elbow touches the wet curtain, it will cling and wrap itself around you! b/. Only secure the curtain rod to one wall, then extend the rod until it touches the opposite wall, slide it down and gently rest it on the EDGE of a WALL TILE!!! The result is unavoidable: the first time I slid the curtain closed the whole thing fell down and I had to delay my shower while I rethreaded the curtain onto its rod and hung it up again. It fell down a few times during our stay. Suggest you advise the owner to: a/. Buy or tailor the correct width curtain. b/. Secure the rod at BOTH ends, and when he does, move the whole rod, maybe, 150mm further outward. As long as the curtain length is ok, it will still hang within the shower recess, and the extra 150mm will give some much needed elbow space. 2/. We were not happy to find toilet and dishwashing items stored side by side under the kitchen sink! This is not good hygiene. We could not wash dishes until we purchased a new dishwash cloth, for fear of using one that had been used to clean the toilet bowl, bidet or floors! Owner should consider providing an obviously new, still in its wrapper, dish cloth and relocate the other cleaning items. 3/. Disappointed that we could find only 1 English language TV channel, BBC World News! Not what we would want to spend an evening watching! CNN, National Geographic and/or a regular channel, screening usual drama programs in English would be useful. 4/. Wish list: remove bathroom door, and refit it so it swings OUT from bathroom, not IN. This would cost, maybe 3 or 4 hundred Euros, so unlikely to happen. Martino, please understand, we were VERY, VERY happy with the apartment. There was SO much attention to detail, even sticky tape, pens, novels, wifi, cleanliness, security, that the items I have listed above, I believe, really are oversights, out of keeping with the owners obvious attention to detail. We will write a very favourable review in `TripAdvisor` and any other site you wish. Thanks also to the lovely Eleanor, she was very informative and helpful. Which reminds me: for some unexplained reason, Florence Streets appear to have two conflicting sets of street numbers! We stood outside number 14 phoning Eleanor who was 6 houses away, at the other number 14! Might pay to caution new guests to only refer to blue street numbers on a white background! Thanks again, and let me know where you would like me to write a review if other than `TripAdvisor`. Sincerely, Alan Nicholson.

Dear Martino -- The "Riccardo" apartment is very large, very quiet, and has everything needed for a stay there. Great location -- literally around the corner from Piazza Signoria and the Uffizi. We usually do some cooking when we stay in an apartment, but we did hardly any this time because there is marvelous take-out food on Via dei Neri, the next street south of Via Vinegia. Riccardo and his associate were most gracious, very helpful getting us settled in; and then when we left were very efficient in arranging for a taxi and getting us and our luggage off to the airport.

We had a very pleasant stay at the "Riccardo" apartment last year. The apartment is very spacious, and has everything you might need. It is very well located, quite near the Uffizi Gallery and the Piazza della Signoria. We had planned to do some cooking there, but found wonderful prepared foods for sale in the next street toward the river. Riccardo and his associate were very helpful in every way in getting us settled in. They were also very helpful when we left -- getting a taxi for us, and getting us and our baggage off to the airport.

Upon arrival, I was met promptly by one of your reresentitives who walked us through the space showing us how everything worked. He was charming and helpful with all of our questions. As far as the apartment goes it was even nicer than the website pictures. We could not believe the value considering all of the amenities we had. The particular location of this apartment was perfect for access to all of the treasures of Firenza. The lift helped with baggage and security was good. The owners met us at the apartment at the agreed time, took time to show us around and were very helpful and friendly. We cannot fault either the apartment or the service. We will definitely return!! Regards Cesare and Jann Callioni

To protect your privacy, remote images are blocked in this message. Display images Dear Martino, I was in Florence for 6 weeks (and with my friend for about 3 of these) and the appartment was great. It was within a few minutes' walk of plenty of the city's principal museums and sights, as well as being right next to a food market and several restaurants. The bedroom was huge and the living area can easily host a number of dinner guests, or whomever you want to invite round. The utility bill, given that I stayed for so long, was also very cheap. Although I never met Alessandra she was very helpful over the phone on the first evening when I had trouble getting into the building. Next-door neighbour Massimo was a friendly guy as well. It's a very vibrant area at night but is normally quiet by a reasonable time (1 or 2am). All in all I'd recommend it to anyone. Many thanks, Jack

Dear Mr. Bruni, My daughter (Pei), husband (Mike) and I stayed at your "Ognissanti" apartment during our recent visit to Florence, Italy. Pei discovered your apartment while she was an international student @ Lorenzo de' Medici. She planned our itinerary and we visited Rome/Vatican City, Siena, Pompei, Positano/Amalfi Coast, etc. Your apartment became our 'home base' while we made the short trips to the various cities. It worked out really well for us and it was good to be able to come back 'home' in Florence after each day of sightseeing. Your apartment was very conveniently located, a short walk to the train station and various attractions/restaurants. The 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms in the apartment were spacious and furnished with all the essentials. We will definitely stay at your apartment again if/when we next visit Florence, Italy and absolutely recommend it to all our family and friends planning a trip there. Hi Martino, We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Florence. It was a special birthday weekend for me and it was a special time! We liked the flat and thought the location was wonderful, quiet and with a local, not touristy, feel to it but also only two minutes from the Arno and the centre, Uffizzi etc. The view from the flat was great, it was charming and sweet and the mezzanine better than expected. It is really like another room when you shut the door and it is good to have a bedside light up there. The only things which could perhaps be improved is a new mattress in the mezzanine (was ok but a firmer one would be better), and a sofa in the living room so it is more comfortable to sit there. I hope we did not cause you inconvenience with the broken gas, I think there was sthg wrong with it before. Thanks for the welcome late at night and the bottle of wine and hope to see you again in your lovely city, Fleur

Dear Martino and Eleonora, We had a lovely time in the Panorama apartment! We would like to thank the owner (Francesco?) for the kind gift of a bottle of wine for our Honeymoon. The setting and the condition of the apartment were just what we needed. I particularly was keen to cook and the kitchen was well appointed for that. The views from the terrace were lovely and it was so quiet, considering how near to the centre we were. Being so close to Robiglios helped, as I frequented that 10 years ago whilst working for the Maggio Musicale. My husband and I had a delightful experience during our week in Chiesa 1. Martino was quite helpful during the booking process. Several times before we had stayed at another InFlorence apartment and at first were disappointed that it was not available during our January 2009 return to Florence. However, we found Chiesa 1 clean, comfortable, attractively furnished, and well suited our needs. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking all our meals. The San Spirito neighborhood is friendly, safe, and has a lovely farmer's market as well as excellent small shops for food. We walked to and from both the train station and Florence's tourist attractions and yet had the pleasure of living in a real neighborhood away from the tourist hordes. Christina made special efforts to assure not only a warm welcome and our physical comfort, but provided much helpful additional information. She gave us her phone number and responded quickly and most warmly to our questions with either a return call or a visit. Our only problem was beyond her control and might not bother others: noise from a nearby bar/cafe on two nights. There was no loud music and folks were neither rowdy nor boisterous; they were just friends laughing, talking, and enjoying one another's company until about midnight. Certainly nothing to complain about, but light sleepers who retire early might want to pack earplugs.

Dear Martino, Thank you for your email and interest in our holiday. My family and I stayed at the "Vacca" apartment in Firenze during Christmas 2008. Great central location near the piazza della Signorina. We were met by our courtious host Federico who showed us through the apartment. Beautiful apartment, comfortable, clean, elegant and secure. Easy walks for coffee, gelato and pizza and all of the cultural delights of Firenze. I remember an exciting new years eve looking down from our window towards the crowded piazza; orchestral music from the loggia; exuberant youth letting off fireworks and breaking bottles; vibrancy, excitement and fear all mixed together as the crowd swelled and flowed. I would love to stay there again; hopefully soon. Ciao, Jon Bianchino Sydney. Australia.

The bedrooms and baths were very nice and homely. If I come to Florence again, I will schedule my trip around the availability of that apartment. The caretakers were so pleasant, the location so perfect, and the flat so fitting for a Florentine vacation. Thank you all again. Barclay

Inflorence staff were only a phone call away should you require their assistance, but its fair to say that everything went pretty smoothly. San Ambrogio is situated in an excellent position only 10 minutes walk from all the main city sights. There is an excellent food market just minutes away and also good restaurants close by catering for all pockets, as well as some great bars and even a jazz club. We were very pleased with the apartment, finding it comfortable and suiting our purpose for the period we stayed.

Dear Martino, We certainly enjoyed our stay at San Giorgio! The apartment has a lot of light and very cozy. Very large kitchen and living area, comfortable bedrooms. Also, we had warm welcome when we arrived at the apartment, very friendly host. Although the location is quite far from the train station if you have lots of luggage but it is close to Ponte Vecchio and lots of local restaurants near by.

Arrival date: 19 Sep 2009
Dear Martino: We had a lovely time in the Panorama apartment. The location was ideal, close to the center but very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the place was quite spacious. We loved spending time on the terrace. What a beautiful view; always changing at different times of day. The only thing we would change was the mattress, which made odd crunching noises when you move. If we could, we'd be back tomorrow, but the wait will have to be a bit longer than that.

Arrival date: 15 Sep 2009
Martino We loved our stay in Florence in your Campuccio 1 apartment. It is a very comfortable, large one bedroom apartment, located on the back of the building so that it does not get any street noise. It is very convenient to both the inbound and outbound routes for the center of Florence (two different one way streets, each about a block and a half from the apartment), so that we could get to the railroad station in twenty minutes. We used the bus almost every day, particularly for one day trips from the station to surrounding towns. The shopping street with a small supermarket was nearby. We were there a month and never tired of wither Florence or the apartment. Dick Fahy

Dear Martino It's been a few weeks since our return from overseas but it's been very busy so apologies for the delay in providing feedback. We enjoyed our week in Florence staying at Panorama very much. Looking at your website again today, I think the apartment is in one of the best locations, always easy to find your way home as long as you can spot the Duomo. The flat is well equipped and very comfortable - we particularly loved the little terrace with its magnificent views. We spent a lot of time out there. It was unseasonally hot in Florence that week so while we were relieved to have a small air conditioner in the bedroom, the apartment was quite warm being on the top floor. We were travelling with our adult daughter and as she was sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area, we needed to keep our door open to share the aircon. If it had been just the two of us, Panorama would have been perfect - as it was, it was almost perfect! Great place. Claire

I would have no hesitancy in recommending it to friends. Best wishes, Phil Zeigler

Wonderful apartment from which to explore Florence. The apartment is very spacious and well maintained. The bathrooms are large and very clean. The apartment is walking distance to all main attractions and just a short walk from the train station. There are many restaurants nearby and one in particular that we visited multiple times because of its fantastic and inexpensive food. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Dear Martino We arrived back home earlier this afternoon and I wanted to write to say what a wonderful time we had staying in Panorama for the last 8 days. The apartment was absolutely delightful, very homely. And the location was perfect -so close to all the sights but also away from the crowds and bustle. As we were very lucky and had better than expected weather for April, we really enjoyed sunning ourselves on the terrace with a bottle of chianti most evenings. We will definitely be recommending Panorama to friends visiting Florence too. Thanks again to you and Francesco. Virginia and Mark

Yes thank you so much. We had an absolutly wonderful time in Florence. The Rebecca apartment was perfect. It was a bit of a climb to the top floor, but it was perfect. The balcony was great, we sat out in the sun above Florence drinking wine and eating bread--wonderful. The kitchen was cute and had everything we needed. The location of the apartment was great, close to San Lorenzo, the Il Centro, the Duomo. Thanks so much for a great stay ! If we come back to Florence, we will definetly stay there again. Thanks! Dear Martino * I'm not a member of Face book, but I'm more than happy to list a few comments following our stay at Panorama apartment: * * The apartment was: * * In an excellent location near to a magnificent church.."The SS. Annunziata" and a stroll away from the Duomo. An excellent ice cream parlour (just established when we visited Panorama) 2 mins from apartment on the way to the Duoma. * * Fantastic views from the roof top terrace across Florence and especially of the Duomo dome. * * Option to eat out on the terrace ( which we did every day), or in the separate kitchen diner. I'm not sure whether the chimney flues would affect eating outside in winter. * * Well appointed lounge and bedroom. However, the kitchen and bathroom both need updating, though this did not spoil our stay and we would consider the apartment again if staying in Florence. * * Friendly greeting on arrival by the owner.

Ciao Martino, I apologize that it has taken me this long to get to writing the review for the apartment. We stayed in the Synagoga apartment for eight months as we were studying. We traveled to Florence with a group of students and out of all the students I believe we had the best apartment. It was in a great location, San Ambrogio Market is right down the street, as is grocery stores and so on. The apartment was well equiped-from hairdryers, to an oven (which are difficult to come by in rental apartments in Florence!), two bathrooms-this helped in a house of young women, and even had a balcony. It is remarkably quiet and the neighbours were friendly and kind. We loved every minute of this apartment, it was perfect for us. It does get a little cold in the winter but nothing a few extra blankets (which were provided for us) couldn't fend off. Thank you Martino for providing such a great apartment, it certainly made our stay in Florence even better. All the best. I hope everything is going well with you. I miss Florence so much I am returning at the end of August!! Anyways, take care! Sincerely Amanda McLean-Doman

Ciao Martino, Our stay at the San Niccolo apartment was wonderful, it had everything we needed and the location was perfect! The view from the balcony was amazing - the most beautiful view we've had - and we go to Italy at least once a year. Dimitri was very helpful and was available to us everytime. When the internet connection didn't work, he even went ahead and installed Wifi in the apartment. He checked up on us from time to time to make sure everything was alright and to make sure we didn't have any problems. Needless to say, we will be recommending your apartments to our friends and family, and we look forward to staying in one of your apartments again when we return. Saluti, Andrea Cruz - Martel

Hi Martino, Hope you are well. Im sorry I have been meaning to email you since I came back with my feedback. We found Federico to be very sweet even bringing us an umbrella (as it was raining sadly) when we arrived. Locations of the apartments was fantastic and they were both very clean. The one we stayed in Porta Rossa was lovely although we had a huge issue with the key and were locked out for one day before we realized there was a knack to getting in the front door (you have to lift it upwards once it is inserted before turning - it might be worth passing this on as it was a nightmare) The apartment itself was beautiful though very spacious with everything we needed and in immaculate condition. Perfect Location. Thanks for an enjoyable stay in Florence though a city we love and one we will definitely be returning to. I have already passed on your details to one of the girls who came as she is considering hiring that apartment again. Emma

Dear Martino, Just wanted to give our feedback on the apartment. The best location ever, it is not possible to stay in a better place. Opening doors into the square is an experience in itself, wonderful feeling. Very spacious, comfortable place. We travelled with parents in law in their late 70s and our two children (3 years and 19 months). Perfect choice as it is safe, central and has a lift. The apartment has everything one needs and nothing unnecessary which is great when you have little children running around. All was in good working order and looked exactly as on the pictures we saw on the internet. Thank you and kind regards, Katya

Arrival date: 13 Apr 2008
Dear Martino and Federico, The Vigna Nuova apartment was fabulous! We so enjoyed our stay in the beautiful city of Florence, and having such lovely accommodations was wonderful. The apartment was perfectly located on a lovely street within easy walking distance to many of the sites. Most importantly, it was just minutes from our son's apartment. It was roomy, clean, and well appointed. The beds were quite comfortable. The kitchen worked well for coffee every morning, and we cooked an Italian dinner for 10 one evening...plenty of cookware and dishware. We had one incident...the hot water was not working at all, and we had ICY COLD showers on our first morning! However, one call to Federico and the problem was resolved quickly. Federico was wonderful, and available at a moment's notice. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We will definitely contact you again for an apartment should we return to Florence. Our son who is studying in Florence this semester is also renting from you on Via Palazzoulo. He and his roommates are VERY happy with their apartment, too. They say it is much nicer than any of the other student apartments that they have visited. We toured it during our visit and found it to be very roomy and nice. They have enjoyed their stay there. Only two suggestions. When we arrived on Sunday, April 13th, Federico did not meet us at the apartment. That was fine as he did send a female associate to let us in. There was a huge communication problem, however. She spoke very little English, and we had quite a bit of trouble understanding each other. It was difficult, as the explanations she gave us for how to work the TV, intercom, keys, heat and A/C were not understood by us at all. It would be helpful to have someone greet you and go through these things who had better communication skills. Also..maybe have more toilet paper in the apartment as we had to go buy some on the third day! Sincerely, Elizabeth Pfeifer

Hello Martino, The street is pedestrianised and there was a lot of noise every night apart from Sunday. 99% of it was caused by Americans, don't know if they were students or not. Double glazing may solve the problem? We were a little bit tired but still thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The apartment is fantastic and Florence is a beautiful city. Best Regards, Allan

My wife and I have just spent a most enjoyable month of March at this ideally situated, spacious, comfortable and well appointed apartment. Where else could you enjoy spectacular 180 deg. vista from the balcony of typically Italian homes and apartments together with the surrounding hills and even glimpses of the snow capped Alps. At night, in the sitting room, a close up view of one of the world's most recognisable pieces of architecture- "Il Duomo". We went to London for 3 days and Francesco very kindly offered to turn the gas heating off in order to save us that cost. Needless to say we will be keen to return.

The apartment is a wonderful location. That is the best aspect of this apartment. The inside of the apartment was furnished very well and very neatly. I was very disappointed that there was not a window looking out to a street. To get an idea of the weather, it was necessary to go out onto the terrace. My cell phone only worked on the terrace and not in the apartment. I missed some important calls. The hot water only worked between 4:00 and 6:00pm most of the time. I called the owner, Lucas about it. He was very responsive about getting someone to look at it. But, they came between 4:00 and 6:00pm when it was working. He indicated that I could call him if I had trouble again. But he also indicated that I would have to be at the apartment when they came. I had more problems, but I was not willing to give up any of my vacation time to stay and wait on someone to come to fix the problem. I felt that was his responsibility. You couldn\'t ask for a landlord that is any nicer than Lucas. Thank you for you help. God bless, <(((>< Sue

Dear Martino, We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the Ricasoli apartment. The location was ideal, with everything within easy walking distance. The apartment was comfortable and very livable. It really felt like a home away from home. Those were things we expected from the photographs on your site. What suprised us was the size of the terrace and how it made the apartment feel like a cottage on a hilltop high above the street. Although it was too cold to eat outside, I will treasure forever the memories of our little girl out on the terrace pushing her dolly in a stroller with the Duomo in the background. When we return to Firenze in a year or two, we will look forward to renting the apartment again. regards and best wishes for the holidays, Nicholas king and family

we stayed in this very nice apartment from Oct 9 to 19, 2007. Its location is a really good feature - away from the tourist mobs in the historic district but a short walk to just about any place you want to go. Plazza Santa Spirito was three short blocks away and we liked the restaurants there - only Casalanga was filled with tourists (we loved it regardless) and the other restaurants on the plaza and next street over (Via Mafia) were fun and very reasonable. One thing we missed was having a phone (reservations, taxi etc) as using our cell was expensive. We ( a 70 year old couple) handled the 40 steps with no problem. The apartment was quiet except for one night when there was an argument near by - we would definitely stay here again. 9 days is hardly enough to do all you want to do in Florence (assuming you like Ren art!)

We took a cab from the train station but later learned the bus routes. With the terrible exchange rate this was the only way wwe could afford a week in Florencxe, barely enough time to do all that we wanted - including train to Pisa for the day and a bus tour to Siena. Dear Martino Bruni, My husband and I were most happy with the accommodations at Via del Moro during our month stay in Florence. It was great to be so centrally located, and yet have such a lovely, comfortable, convenient apartment to return to. The well-equipped kitchen aided us in preparing most of our meals. With many personal things left in the apartment, we felt a connection to the former owner. The motorcycles in the street below were sometimes noisy, but my earplugs allowed me to sleep-in whenever I wanted. I cannot complement enough the work of Eleonora. She was so available and helpful for us. Her suggestions of important places to go enriched our trip. She was helpful, friendly and extremely professional in her work. Hi Martino, We are back in New Zealand after a wonderful 2 months in your lovely Italy. Loved Florence and your apartment Panzani Piccolo. Great location. Only hiccup was when we phoned Federico around noon he told us to go to the apartment and that they were expecting us. When we got there we were told by the front man at Hotel delle Tele that it would be impossible to enter before 3pm as the apartment had not yet been cleaned. After some negotiations with both Federico and the cleaners we were given a 50 euro discount and were able to gain entry around 2pm. Perhaps that part of the operation needs to be looked at. Otherwise it was everything we had expected and more. We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to visitors to beautiful Florence. Thank you.

Dear Martino We very much enjoyed our apartment in Florence thank you. Our apartment was very spacious and an ideal base for what we needed. The hospitality that we received was very useful for eating out, every restaurant that was recommended had excellent food. Also the places to visit that were recommended we also followed and we were equally pleased. There was only one thing which did spoil the apartment which was the neighbour (who's flat shares the same door as ours) he had his television at full volume which became rather annoying on the 2 evenings that we stayed in on. But apart from that we really enjoyed our stay. Kind regards Anna Gittoes

Arrival date: 15 Sep 2007
We LOVED it. The apartment was much lighter and more spacious than it appeared on the website - especially the kitchen. We had plenty of room. The carpet was kind of icky, but I got over that quickly. The location was perfect. The service was great (we were rescued within 5 minutes of being locked in), and there was even coffee, wine and pasta awaiting us. We've rented homes before in Italy and France, but at Fossi the linens were all much better. The wonderful and plentiful bath towels and bed linens were enjoyed by all, but we could have used some kitchen towels. Unfortunately, we likely stained one of the hand towels with my coffee disasters. We appreciated the all inclusive price and that we could pay as our guests arrived. That made things much easier. The only criticism is that it would be helpful to advise guests NOT to lock the deadbolts from the outside. While two of us slept in, our departing friends locked the door to keep us "safe" which trapped us. What else would you like to know?

Dear Martino My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful time at the Panorama. Francisco met us at the flat and showed us around. The flat was very comfortable despite the hot weather at the time, and the little balcony was a wonderful place to survey the skyline. We found ourselves out there at the start of the day as we planned our activities, and at the end of the day we watched the light fade over the domes and spires of Florence, often with a good glass of local red. The apartment was well equipped and well located only a few hundred metres from the Academia and San Marco, and within easy walking distance of all the main sites. Our hosts were very helpful - we accidentally left our camera and had to drive back to Florence to pick it up. Francesco and Martino drove to an autostrada exit to meet us so we would not have to drive into Florence. This was greatly appreciated because it was only my second day of driving on the right hand side of the road and was having enough trouble just with the autostrada. There was a lift, but we still had to walk a short flight of stairs, which was not a problem at all. We would stay again and would recommend Panorama to others. Best regards Michael Batterham

Thanks for reminding me. I had planned to send you comments when I returned, but as you can imagine after being away from home for a full month I had a lot to catch up with. Anyway, thanks to you we had a remarkable trip in Florence. The apartment was great; it was centrally located, in a great part of Florence and it had a wonderful old world charm which was just what we were looking for. The only negative thing was the beds. They were either too hard or too soft (too soft in the bedroom that over look Via della Vigna Nuova and too hard in the other bedroom). But we managed to work through it and still had a very, very memorable trip. I will most definitely think of your company if I plan another trip to Florence. Let me know if you have apartments in other cities because I plan a one month trip every year. Thanks again. Brenda

Arrival date: 28 Jul 2007
Dear Martino Over the years we have travelled a great deal, prefering to live in houses or apartments rather than hotels. I have to say that Borgo Pinto is the most beautiful apartment in which we have stayed ! The contact prior to arrival was great and reasuring, as was being met at the house by two very pleasant individuals - we even got some more good recommendations for nearby restaurants that turned out to be great! What an experience, joy and honour to be staying in such an old and beautifully restored apartment. It 'ached' with Tuscan beauty and history. Not only was it beautiful but every detail had been considered and everything was of the utmost quality and style. When booking I was a little concerned that being so close to the Duomo we may find it noisy but that was certainly not the case. The two bedrooms are well insulated from the outside world!! The layout meant that staying with two teenagers was easy, as they shut their door to their bedroom and bathroom we could almost have believed we were alone!! A real find and I am telling all my friends!! We will certainly be back to stay in Borgo Pinti. Many thanks - you helped us make the first part of our holiday something very memorable indeed. Martino, The apt. in Florence was wonderful. It was perfect for our family of 4: 2 teenagers ages 14 & 15. It was spacious, clean and well kept with all of the modern amenities one needs, while on vacation. The only difficulty we had was locating it due to construction on neighboring streets. Various roads were closed. Also, it is a bit of a walking distance from the old part of Florence, which was where we spent most of our time. Lori Cohen

Martino, The apartment was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed basing our trip out of there. Please apologize again to Elisa for us as we arrived so very late and she was a great sport to wait patiently for us. We very much appreciated her kindness. You as well were very helpful. Hi Martino, We had a great time in Florence in Parione apartment. Elevator not working part of the time was the only problem but Frederico was great at responding when we phoned him about it and he was able to fix it so we could get our luggage downstairs. There was some womens underware under the pillow of the first bedroom when we arrived so we were not sure if the bedding had been changed in that room. Thank you Martino - will contact you next time we would like a Florence apartment. Judy Vettoretti

Arrival date: 15 Jun 2007
Dear Martino, We very much enjoyed our stay in Florence and appreciated the hospitality we received from Federico. The Panzani Destra apartment was just the right size for our needs and we found it to be clean and comfortable. On the positive side, this apartment is very close to the major sites of central Florence as well as the train station. While its location is ideal for purposes of touring Florence, it unfortunately faces via Panzani which is a very, very busy street in terms of traffic. As a result, it was very noisy throughout much of the night (even with the windows closed), which made it difficult to sleep. Nevertheless, we will always fondly remember our stay in Florence and hope to return in the near future. Best wishes.

From Janet & Tom, July 2007 What a lovely time we had in this sweet apartment, in an historic old building, nestled in a quiet, charming neighborhood, among the locals, and off the beaten path, yet so close to everything. Dimitri (the landlord) could not have been more helpful or accommodating; he saw to our needs as if we were family. We hope to come back to Florence and would love to inquire about this property for our next visit. Thanks much, Martino, you made this so easy.

Everything was great. The only problem was the noise from the bar below us. They would stay open until 2-3 am every night and this is not something that any renter would know about it. Without that noise the apartment would have been perfect.

We have just returned from our travels and would like to say that the apartment in Florence was superb. It was a great pleasure to meet Lorenzo and we were extremely impressed with the renovations that have been done to the apartment. We were very comfortable and thought the apartment spacious, the a/c effective, and bathrooms very nice. The kitchen was small but very functional. In all very charming and we hope to be back!! Dear Martin - we had a great time, revisting favourite places. The flat was in a great situation - close to hotel family were staying at(helv.bristol) and within alking distance of some of our favourite places. It was well presented and clean. The only slight disadvantages were -small sitting area, but this didn't bother us as we ate out most evenings, and the front bedroom was noisy, but you can have no control over loud, drunk americans! The lady who met me was charming. We would certainly think about using flat again on a future visit. thaks. jane

Dear Martino, First of all my apologies for taking so long to reply, we have just returned to Australia in the last week from our travels. We had a wonderful time in Florence. Eleonora met us near the station and took us to the apartment. She showed us around the apartment and answered all our questions and made some very good suggestions on what to do and where to go whilst in Florence, she was great. Eleonora suggested a day trip to Siena and San Gimignano which we did, it was an excellent day. The apartment was fine and in a good location. Our main complaint was it was very noisy, especially at night, there were constantly people in the street below the apartment, maybe it was because of the take away store below. Can I suggest that you provide written information and a map for guests describing where the nearest supermarket, banks, post office, bus stops, suggested restaurants etc. are located? Also include how to turn the hot water and power off, there was a sign on the back of the door telling us to turn them off when we left but not how to do so. We stayed in quite a few apartments on our travels and only 2 of them had written information for the guests, it saves a lot of time if information is provided, the more information the better. Best wishes Sharon Lucey

Hi Martino! Just to let you know we had a wonderful time in Florence. The Fossi apt. was perfect. Very beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room and a very good location. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back. Met Tomaso at the apartment. Made it very easy for us. He gave us ideas for places to eat, shop etc. We were sorry to have to leave the apt. and spend our last night in a hotel. Next time we will plan better. Thanks for all your help. Lynn Bemis

The apartment was perfectly located to walk to all of Florence. It was more spacious than we expected and very well equipped. Since my daughters are musicians and I studied art, the abundance of music and art were much appreciated. The only criticism I would make is that the linens are of poor quality and the towels rough. If this apartment were available when I return, I would be more than happy to stay there again. Judith

Arrival date: 22 May 2007
Dear Martino, We were very pleased with our "Campuccio 1" apartment. It was spacious, well equipped, and very quiet as well as full of light and air--even better than the pictures. It remained cool even when the weather in Florence turned hot. Being on the third floor (American) wasn't a problem; the stairs were easy to climb. The neighborhood was great. It had everything anyone could need. We found good food stores, wine stores, and a great bakery. There were plenty of cleaners and a good barber for my husband. The location was close enough to important sites without being overrun with tourists. And Oltrarno provided a whole new area to explore in depth. One small suggestion: We would have appreciated having a few more towels and an extra set of sheets available. It wasn't necessary, but it would have been nice. We hope to come back to Florence again in the next few years and stay even longer. Given our experience with your organization, I'll be back in touch when we begin to make plans. Sincerely, Harriett

We would certainly stay there again when we return to Florence. Thanks for the help in arranging it. Neil

Arrival date: 7 May 2007
Mr. Bruni, the apartment was spacious and lovely. We liked the location. If a few adjustments were made, we would consider staying there again. One of the major problems was lack of internet access. We had to pay $5.00 per hour, and then sit in the stairwell to get decent reception. We could not access the internet at all in our apartment. This made it difficult for us because we own our own company and are dependent on internet access to function properly. Another major problem was the lack of air conditioning. We understood from the website that air conditioning would be available in May. We had to leave some of the windows open at night, which let in a lot of mosquitos. Subsequently, my children had a lot of bites and they were too hot to rest comfortably. In the downstairs bathroom, the jets in the bathtub fell out a couple of times without anyone ever using the jet system. It appeared that the tub was new, but whoever installed it may not have had much experience. We weren't able to use the jets at all because we thought it might completely fall apart. It was sometimes a challenge to get more light bulbs when the bulbs burned out; and also to have someone clean up after the apartment upstairs leaked water through the ceiling in our apartment and onto our floor. Whoever my partner Tricia talked to in the hotel upstairs handed her a mop and bucket to clean it up herself. Thank you for asking. We absolutely adore Florence, and of course would consider staying at the same location if there was air conditioning and a more attentive staff. Regards, Rita Winters

Dear Martino, I do not have much to say about Alamanni Verde apartment, except that it is a great place to stay in a very convenient location (next door to SMN railway station, yet quiet), with a very reliable and very friendly hostess. I did enjoy every moment at the Alamanni Verde, and I would recommend this place to anyone who travels to Florence for a few days or longer and who prefers a home comfort to staying in a hotel. Hi Martino, I wanted to thank you for your wonderful accomodations during our 2 month stay in Florence. The apartment was great and was even more than we had hoped for. The good sized kitchen and living area were a great place to relax and entertain. We would have liked the kitchen to be better stocked (more pots and pans, wine glasses, large water glasses, etc.) but we got by with what you provided. We LOVED having internet access in the apartment...definitely one of the biggest perks of living in the "Ognissanti." The three of us were also so thankful to have our own bedrooms and two bathrooms to share. Another huge perk of the "Ognissanti" was the screens on the windows! It would have been a miserably buggy summer without them! As my dad mentioned before, our fellow classmates often reffered to our apartment as a palace compared to where they were living! The location of the apartment also turned out to be ideal. It was so nice to be within a short walking distance of the heart of the city, yet it was also nice to have a quite place to come home to at the end of the day. Overall, the apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our summer getaway. I would definitely recommend the "Ognissanti" apartment to future Florence visitors. A special thanks needs to given to your employee Elanora. She was AMAZING! Our experience in Florence would not have been the same without her. Elanora was extremely helpful and did anything she could to welcome us to the city. I can't thank her enough! Thank you again for an extremely pleasant stay in Florence. We thoroughly enjoyed doing business with you. Katherine Anderson

Arrival date: 27 Apr 2007
Hello, I had a very good time at Sprone Studio and I had no problems really. The only issue I had is that three days before I left for Canada, the super of the building changed the lock at the entrance and .informed all the tenants via a notice at the entrance where they could pick up the new key. Because the notice was in Italian, I didn't understand why my key never worked until the evening before I left. Other tenants let me in regardless. Luca was not aware that the locks were to be changed either since the super had not contacted him. I don't know if there is policy you can implement to avoid this sort of mixup. Other than that, I had a very good time in Florence and I am very glad that I contacted you for my living arrangements. Thanks Jesse DiCecca

We were very happy with the excellent location and security of the apartment. The supply of bedlinen, towels and blankets was generous and of good quality. Thank you for providing the comfortable extra pillows we requested.Unfortunately we found the beds very hard compared with what we are accustomed to.The apartment was adequately equipped and the supply of hot water was excellent at all hours. The accommodation was spacious but brighter lighting in the form of a few large table lamps and a good-sized coffee-table would have made the seating area more cheerful and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Florence and it added to our pleasure to have stayedin a building of historic interest. Many Thanks, Mollie

Dear Martino, I just wanted to send you a note of thanks for the wonderful stay we had at Via del Moro, 21. Although the beautiful weather and surrounding countryside may not be entirely of your doing, much of the joy of our stay in Florence could be attributed to our comfort in your apartment and its outstanding location! Thank you as well to Eleonora, her sister and mom for receiving us and explaining just how everything functioned. Rest assured that we would heartily recommend your service to others. We could not have had a more memorable stay visiting with our daughter who is studying in Florence, so thank you all once again. With all best wishes, Tim Schantz p.s. In the end, we were able to navigate the local system for non-resident parking quite congenially, so thank you for your guidance in this respect as well. You asked for feedback. We thought the apartment was splendid, and if we go to Florence again (which we do most februarys) we would book it again. It was clean, warm and attractively furnished, and the location is excellent. We always were pleased to go back there after the day. The only comment I would make is about the china, which is not in a terrific state. Five cups and five large plates, six small ones is quite silly when you have a 12 setting dishwasher, you are running it half empty. I think you would pay for an extra set in a couple of weeks rental in saving on electricity - and it just creates a much better impression. I would have a look at the knives in the knife block, they are very wobbly and one has only half a handle. An electric toaster would also be nice - there are two toast racks and no means of making toast at all. The England -Scotland game on the TV was much enjoyed by one of us, as well! Thanks Elaine Hunt

Dear Martino, We spent 5 days last week at the apartment in Via del Moro that we rented through you, and we just wanted to write and say how much we enjoyed ourselves. The apartment was very comfortable, with everything we could need, and was in an excellent location to get around Florence. It was particularly convenient that it was so close to the station, as we arrived on the bus from Pisa airport. Eleonora met us when we arrived, and she was extremely helpful and friendly, showing us everything that we needed to know. Martino, I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in Florence. The Signoria apartment was absolutely wonderful! The location couldn't have been better. We were able to celebrate New Year's Eve in the most exciting part of town just by stepping out into the square where the apartment was located. It was so nice to be able to have a little "home away from home" with three young children. Having access to a kitchen and a washing machine made all the difference. The kids loved having a bedroom to play in and a kitchen table to eat at. Renting an apartment is, by far, the best way for a family to be a part of a city and staying at the Signoria apartment really made our family feel we were a part of Florence. We hope to get back to Florence again real soon and would definitely love to stay at the Signoria apartment again. Thank you for helping us have a memorable vacation that we will always remember fondly. The Adams Family Los Angeles, California

Hi Martino, Thank you for your e-mail. We had a wonderful time in Florence and our stay at the Alberto worked out really well for us. The location was perfect! Everything was within easy walking distance of the apartment, plus we had the added benefit of a great workout being on the 3rd floor! It was so nice to be the first ones to stay in the newly renovated apartment! It was spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated with Ikea furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have a washing machine in the apartment as well. There was alot of activity on Via Faenza, and it was a little bit noisy when the windows were opened, but things settled down by 22 hrs.so it really wasn't a problem at all. When we arrived, Eleonora met us at the apartment with the keys and made sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and understood how to use all the appliances. She was a great help in familiarizing us with the neighbourhood and answered all our questions about good restaurants, where to shop for specific things and went out of her way to come back the next day with maps and directions for us. All in all we were very pleased with the apartment and having it as our home base really added to the enjoyment of our holiday! Thank you for your part in arranging the apartment for us! Best wishes, Debbie and Sheldon Goldberg

Dear Martino, My family and I visited Italy this past summer, staying in the Borgo Pinti apartment. Although long overdue, I just wanted to tell you what a great experience it was. My husband, daughter, and I could not have been more pleased when we arrived at the apartment. So many times lodgings look so much better in pictures, but the Borgo Pinti was even better and more spacious than we expected. We were met there by Lorenzo, who could not have been more helpful. He had put bottles of water, fresh fruit, and wine there for us, and was incredibly kind and gracious. We were a little worried about booking an apartment online, but our experience could not have been any better. Both the apartment and its location were great, and we would not hesitate to rent from you in the future. We loved Italy and cannot wait to travel there again. Feel free to post this email on your website if you have a page for comments. Once again, i apologize for taking so long to thank you for the wonderful accomodations. Patsy Maldonado

Hi Martino, Last year we rented an apartment in Florence through you. I think it was the Nuovo Tiziano. We were very happy with the apartment and with your service. We are returning to Florence again this year for the month of May, say from about May 3 to June 1. (We can be flexible for a couple of days at each end.) I am teaching for the month at a university in Prato. Our adult daughter might be joining us this year for about a week. So, we were wondering if you have any large 1 bedroom apartments or 2 bedroom apartments for this time period. We very much liked the central location of the apartment we had last year I hope you have had a good year, and I look forward to hearing from you, Neil

We found the spacious one-bedroom apartment, recently remodeled with a classic Tuscan design, to be very charming and comfortable The appliances and furnishings are all rather new and function very well. There was plenty of room for my wife, young daughter and myself. When I consider the great condition of the apartment, its ideal central location, and the reasonable price, I would say that we found ourselves a great deal. We have traveled throughout Italy quite a bit, staying in a number of hotels and apartment rentals - this, by far, was our best renting experience of all.

Very nice apartment. Good location. Crossing the Ponte Vecchio to get to the central museums always adds a special element to the walk. Apartment is near little shops of all kinds. Easy to shop for food and wine. I like the nearby market at Santo Spirito. The apartment kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Good roomy bet for us tall people. Last but not least, Cristina was a dear. Very helpful with any questions that I had.Good luck Cristina. Jim presto! xxxxx

When we return to Florence, we are calling you all and reserving Ricasoli. Hoping you all are well. Again, thank you! Hunter

Caro Signor Bruni! My apologies for not having written sooner to thank you. Believe me, I only hesitated because returning from beautiful Florence has made me sad! My friend and I had a most wonderful stay at the apartment in Borgo Pinti. It was beautifully furnished with comfortable sofa, chairs, and beds. Gorgeous frescoes covered the ceiling and doors. The photo on your website was not only accurate, but the apartment was even more beautiful in real life! It was tidy and clean and the kitchen afforded us everything we needed for ourselves and guests. Lorenzo was prompt meeting us with keys, phone, etc. and made the check-in process easy and welcoming. Being the architect who renovated the apartment, he was able to provide us with many interesting details about the history of the building. And thank you, Mr. Bruni, for your timely and consistently attentive consideration. I have but two suggestions that might make this wonderful place even better. In the bedroom with single beds it would be good to have some sort of desk or small dressing table to be able to lay out one's jewelry, makeup, etc. (I used the other single bed for this purpose) It would be very helpful to have internet access in the apartment. High speed access is not that uncommon these days and really quite affordable. It would be a great thing for people like me who need to do a little work or even want to look up schedules for events listed on posters around town that note a web address. I found myself running up and downstairs to the local Internet cafe quite often. We tried to leave the apartment as we found it, but I forgot to tell Lorenzo, that the first glass I picked up from the cupboard was severely broken on its edge. I nearly cut my lip on it. Perhaps the people who clean could be a tad more thorough in inspecting the glass-ware. I left it on top of the cupboard where he could see it and discard it. But, of course, these things I mention were minor inconveniences. As I say, the apartment was lovely and we would certainly stay there again if available. Also, I'd be happy to recommend your services to anyone interested. Sincerely, Judy Tate

Comment: I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful apartment. It was wonderful to stay away from the "touristy" part of town, but still be within walking distance to the museums, etc. The apt. seemed bigger to me than the pictures I saw on the net. The local restaurants were wonderful and it was easy to use the bus system to get around the city. Christina was so helpful with last minute museum tickets, cell phone rental and any other details that concerned me. She was so pleasant and willing to help. I had a great time in Florence and I would highly recommend this apt.

Federico, We are home again after a wonderful holiday in your beautiful country. Grazie mille for making our week in Firenze so memorable. The apartment at 17 V. More than that, however, you were also very helpful to us, especially regarding the problems we encountered with the credit card. Molto gentile. We will be sure to recommend your company and apartment to anyone. Again, thank you. Tony Klesert

Comment: DOur stay in FLORENCE was fabulous and the big, comfortable, wonderful apartment added much to the experience...I was alittle apprehensive not really knowing what the apartment was really like(the net dose'nt really give you the true picture). It was awesome. It is located in the best part of FLORENCE, where the real people of FLORENCE live. Great places to eat within a few blocks, museums, shopping...damn i wish i was there! We also had our son and his friend with us and they did some traveling throughout EUROPE and thought the apartment was the best.(they are teenagers so i did'nt think they cared so much but they both loved the place)... Christina was so very helpful and down to earth, easy to deal with...We hope we have the good fortune of staying there in the future,we just simply loved it!

Dear Martino, Thank you for your email. We were very impressed with the Unit in Florence. We found that it was central to all the sights so we were able to walk around and not worry about public transport. We found your staff ( I can\'t remember the name of the man who met us ) Extremely cooperative, flexible and helpful. We appreciated having the basics there when we arrived ( soap, toilet paper etc) We loved the apartment but found it a little noisy at night. We will recommend your company to others. A beautiful apartment - the photo on the website doesn't do it justice (at time of writing, it shows the very ordinary kitchen, whereas the rest is a beautifully renovated apartment). I can vouch for the comfort of the sofabed. Nice bathroom with a big shower and a nice big main bedroom; plenty of room to sit and eat at a proper dining room table. The distict was a perfect wandering distance from the heart of Florence. There is an excellent restaurant, recommended by Cristina, within 7-8 minutes' walk - Cristina can give details. Our only issue was noise from the very successful local bar. For heavy sleepers it's not a problem, but for light sleepers, earplugs and a grappa before bed are recommended. Everything was very efficient and well organised and I would definitely go back. !

Martino, thank you for the opportunity to comment on our stay in Campuccio Apartment 1 during the month of March, 2005. It was, in a word, wonderful. The apartment was more than we had imagined, and was bright, spacious and efficient. It was particularly well located, being within easy walking distance to the Ponte Vecchio, yet just far enough away from the tourist crowds in front of the Pitti Palace to make it quiet and peaceful. Our landlord, Allesandro, was amazing. He was friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. The few times when we voiced any concerns, he responded immediatly. He even supplied us with a cell phone so that we could contact him anytime. We have no hesitation in recommending the apartment. We would certainly seek to rent it again the next time we are in Florence. We would then look forward to meeting up with Allesandro again. We hope that the forgoing comments are useful. They are certainly heartfelt. Ciao, Ron and Carole Fox

Hi Martino, hope that you had a nice Christmas and New Year. Just wanted to say thanks for letting us stay in your apartment, we had such a good time. I really loved the area that your apartment is in, it's near to everything, isn't it. I never got to try the trattoria that you recommended unfortunately...Had lots of lovely meals though. Martin did a little drawing for you and Alessandro to say thanks which we left in the apartment. Hope that everthing was okay when we left. Say thanks again to Alessandro, who was really kind when we arrived even though the flight was delayed and he was left waiting for a few hours. Well now I'm back at work and dreaming of Florence. I've told people how much i enjoyed staying in your apartment, so some friends may be in touch in the future if that's okay. Well 'Happy New Year' and thanks again. Karen.

Ciao Alessandro Siamo ritornati di Italia sensa catastrofia!... We had a great trip home. I only have one complaint...the taxi driver charged us the 22 Euros (the signora had said 15-18) to the airport...and then he added 8 euros for the bags..!!!! He asked for 30 Euros. I got very mad at him, but he would not change his mind! It did cost a bit more since he was stuck with the construction backing up onto Via Romana...and our trip started at almost 7 euros. But, overall the cost of 30 euros was much too much. I would appreciate it if you called the taxi company and tell them that this was NOT appreciated and that it ended a wonderful vacation with great anger and disappointment. The driver was not able to show me the bagage fee, but I could not argue well enough in Italian to not pay the 30 euros. He probably took the extra money for himself. I did not know if the bagage fee went up with kilometres. He said it did. We had paid from the train station 2euros95..so this increase from 22 to 30 was well above this charge. I told him that he represented the worst of Italians in this transaction. Our taxi was booked for Oct 13 at 7:10 if the signora or owner wants to trace the driver. This has nothing to do with you, Alessandro, but maybe you want to not use this company again since I felt very deceived. Otherwise, our stay in Florence was beyond incredible and much thanks to you and your warmth and personality. You are a wonderful peron. Grazie tanto laura ps. I hope that things work out with Cathy..it sounds like a good partnership if it works.

I really loved my stay at Chiesa 1. The house is perfectly located, close to the city centre, but still in a local neighbourhood with few tourist. That gives a feel of real, florentine life. High standard, all amenities worked well, but still in a house from the 16th century with a nice feel of history about it. We will return to Florence some day, I´m convinced of that, and will be hoping to live in this great apartment again. Stein Sneve

The apartment was much bigger then we expected even from the pictures. It was clean and spacious and has everything you might need (including pots, dishes, a refrigerator and a French press for coffee). It is a short and scenic walk from anywhere you would like to be in Florence and very close to the Palazo Pitti. It is a few minutes walk to many restaurants, bars and cafes. Christina is incredibly helpful with everything from directions and suggestions to replacing a light bulb. She is available whenever you need them. Cosimo was at our apartment to greet us when we arrived and he was helpful with our luggage and showing us around, Christina arrived a short while later and they could not have been more accommodating. I have only wonderful things to say about our experience in this apartment and working with Christina. We will stay there the next time we are in Florence as well and have recommended it to all of our friends.

Hello Martino and Federico, We are greatly enjoying our stay at the Nuovo Tiziano. It is a very convenient and comfortable apartment. However, we wonder if we could get an extra set of keys. It is somewhat inconvenient to have only one set for the two of us. If someone could drop them off that would be terrific. If we are not at home, they could just leave them on the table. Thank you very much.
